The creator of Tarzan was at one time a pencil sharpener salesman who had been rejected from the West Point Military Academy. Burroughs believed he could write stories as well as any pulp writer and sought to prove that Tarzan could hold the attention of readers from generation to generation.   This reproduction would look great in an album or display.
